Team Name: Green Living

Medias being converged:

● Society (Web communities)

● Literature (Text)

● Broadcast (Television)

Big Vision: People are unaware of their local environmental resources, quick tips and events going around in Central Florida. The app will provide a local calendar with events for the upcoming month, resources and tips, and blog posts covering various green topics.

Targeted audience/users: Higher income locals (Osceola, Orange, Polk, Volusia, Brevard, Seminole, Sumter), with a higher education aged 20-50 whom have web access.

Pilot scope: Broadening your green horizons with an informative platform to promote a green world.

3 areas:

Society- Engaging with community

● The objectives would to boost green community engagement.

Literature- providing information via blog and app

● Our app is designed to promote a like-minded green local, community, individuals.

Commercial: Advertising our app’s capabilities.

● Enjoy your everyday green problems being solved by an app.

Testing plan

● Create Survey Monkey post onto Facebook, most users are within our target audience.

● Interview UCF environmental club asking for their feedback on the app.

● Interview the environmental engineering research labs if they would be interested in the app.

Biggest barrier(s)

● Larger corporation, well-branded/nationally known entities, multiple apps already existing.

● Narrow advertising reach and slow to start, having to seek out the businesses with local events.
